Step by step
-
What is on your phone
Your visits from yesterday up to two weeks ahead, the work orders with their assets, your work reports, the items, the stock of your van and the forms are on your phone. My day, the work order and the work report therefore work without internet.
-
Keep working without signal
On the way, Arrived, the work report, materials, the report, checklists, photos, scans and the signature go into the queue. You see them in the app straight away, marked as not yet sent.
-
Keep an eye on the status
At the top of My day you see the status: All sent, the number waiting, or Offline with the number waiting. Tap it for the Synchronisation screen, with the last synchronisation, the next attempt and the Send now button.
-
Let the app send
When the internet comes back, when you open the app or when it comes to the foreground again, the app sends everything in the order you did it. If that fails, it tries again by itself, a little later each time.
-
See what was rejected
If the server rejects an action, it is listed under Rejected, with the reason. The rest carries on. Read the reason, solve it or talk to the office, and tap Remove.
-
Log in again when needed
If it says Log in again, confirm your device again with two-factor authentication. Your queue is kept and carries on afterwards.
Good to know
- You can create a new breakdown job offline too. It gets a provisional number, and the office sees it once it has been sent.
- Photos are made smaller on your phone, without location data, and go along with the queue.
- You need internet to check out with a QR code, to close the day, to record expenses and purchases and to look up a fault code.
